We wish to inform you that the hostel, that up until now was used mainly as lodgings for the Association’s volunteers, will be completely separated from the ICBIE starting in January 2011, to be transformed into the Piccola Ribeira Pousada.
This division is necessary in order to clearly separate the NON PROFIT field (the ICBIE Association) from that which makes a PROFIT (such as a tourist lodging).
Naturally, the collaboration between the two structures will continue, regarding the participation of Pousada guests with the Institute’s activities, such as the possibility of organizing courses in languages (Italian or Portuguese), in capoeira, samba, music, etc.
Once again, we ask for your collaboration in helping us to spread the word of this new activity, which will surely become a good opportunity for the ICBIE to grow and to widen its base of international contacts.

A Pousada Piccola Ribeira vai abrir em janeiro
Vorremmo informarvi che l´ostello, fin ora utilizzato piú che altro come foresteria per i volontari dell´Associazione, a partire da gennaio 2011 si stacca completamente dall´ICBIE per trasformarsi in Pousada Piccola Ribeira.
Questa divisione nasce essenzialmente dalla necessitá di separare chiaramente il campo NO PROFIT (proprio dell´Associazione ICBIE) da quello PROFIT (tipico di una struttura di ricezione turistica).
Naturalmente la collaborazione tra le due strutture rimarrá in termini di coinvolgimento degli ospiti della Pousada nelle attivitá dell´Istituto, nella possibilitá di organizzare insieme all´Istituto corsi di lingua (portoghese o italiano), di capoeira, di samba, di musica, ecc.
Ancora una volta chiediamo la vostra collaborazione nell´aiutarci a divulgare questa nuova attivitá, che sicuramente rappresenterá una buona occasione, anche per l´ICBIE, di crescere e allargare i propri contatti internazionali.
